"Turning Dreams Into Reality"
Part One
Living Life Just Functioning
Revelation 3:8
"I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me."
This Scripture is heartfelt in so many ways:
First: “I know all the things you do.”
We have to always remember that even if no one else notices all our efforts and hard work, God does. His eyes are always on us and He’s always watching the things that we do, especially when we’re doing what we feel He wants us to do.
Second: “I have opened a door for you that no one can close.”
God is not only watching the things that we do, He has already prepared a reward for us. He’s gone ahead of us to put people, opportunities and the desires of our hearts in place for us. Our Heavenly Father already knows the dreams and visions we have of ourselves that are tucked away in our hearts and minds. The things we wish we could accomplish that would bring us personal fulfillment that we keep to ourselves most of the time.
He promises us that the door that will bring us purpose and joy has already been opened for us. And, because He is God our Father, nothing will hinder our success when we walk through it.
Third: "You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me."
He also wants us to know that He is aware of how weak we can become as we continue to obey and wait on Him.
Summary: Never forget that His eyes are upon you at all times and that He knows what you go through, how you feel and how hard it is to wait for His Divine move. He hears the words you speak only in your heart; words that no one else hears. He listens to your faintest prayer when you feel frustrated and want to give up. Your God feels the longing in your heart to move forward and succeed in reaching your goals. Try hard to remember that everything you desire, He has already prepared them for you. And, that there is an open door of opportunity waiting for you that cannot be shut.
God Bless You,
