Summary:

Joshua 6:10 “But Joshua commanded the people, ‘You shall not shout or make your voice heard, neither shall any word go out of your mouth, until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout’”

God gave Joshua instructions that seemed unreasonable from a military standpoint. Maybe so, however, it was a test of faith and obedience. They camped out, lodged or rested silently in the camp before they proceeded to their victory and possession of God’s promise.

We have to understand that God’s directions on how to succeed may not always seem reasonable to us. But if we want to move forward and receive what He has for us, we must be obedient.

So be still, rest, camp-out and wait to hear from God. Remember that:
-
The wall or blockage is not as sturdy as it looks. There is a breach somewhere...there is a weak spot somewhere.
-
It is a fact that a rested body, soul and spirit are stronger because anxiety has been minimized.
-
Renewed strength always involves God. A new day with new determination only occurs when there is a realization of the need for Divine help.
Scriptures:

Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
1st Peter 5:1 “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
You can think clearly and you become more susceptible to new
ideas and strategies when you're rested.
Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Isaiah 55:9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Life Experience Exercise:
(Complete each of the following within this week)

1. Clearly define your goal.

2. Identify what the blockage (wall) is.

3. What effect does it have on you mentally, spiritually, emotionally.

4. Write a plan to rest so that you hear from God regarding your blockage. Include: date, place and time. Then make the reservation or necessary plans to carry it out.
Diet: Why the Nutrition Facts Label Is Important Part 1

You can help your family eat better and balance their energy by learning to choose lower calorie, lower fat alternatives to some of their favorite foods. Use the Nutrition Facts label found on food packages to make smarter food choices.

-
Check servings and calories. Look at the serving size and how many servings the package contains. If you eat one serving, the label clearly outlines the nutrients you get. If you eat two servings, you double the calories and nutrients, including the Percent Daily Value (% DV). The Daily Value is how much of a specific nutrient you need to eat in a day. Percent Daily Value tells you how much of a nutrient is in one serving of food compared to the amount you need each day.

-
Make your calories count. Look at the calories on the label and note where the calories are coming from (fat, protein, or carbohydrates). Compare them with nutrients (like vitamins and minerals) to decide whether the food is a healthy choice.
