Prayer Focus - Worship
Psalm 95:2 “Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.”
Going into the presence of God our Father is going before His throne of Majesty which suggests that we present ourselves with the greatest respect and reverence, with grateful hearts and with songs and words of praise.
Selection of a place that is conducive to prayer is very important because it help to put us in the right frame of mind to worship God. Along with selecting a place, deciding on the time of day to pray is equally important so that we don’t try to squeeze the spiritual realm into our busy natural realm.
Application and Prayer Journal Entry:
Make changes to improve your worship time in prayer. Decide on the place and time for prayer so that you create the right atmosphere and have ample time to worship God. Journal the changes you will make.
Scripture Study:
Study and then write your interpretation of this Scripture as it would apply to you and today’s prayer focus.
Colossians 3:16 “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”
